Cities with the most international association meetings last year were Vienna, Seoul and Barcelona, Spain, followed by Copenhagen, London and Amsterdam. Looking back over the past decade, ICCA says the average number of attendees to an international association meeting decreased from 672 in 2006 to 404 in 2016.

Singapore rose one place to rank sixth, while Seoul, a newcomer to the top 10 , comes in at No. Number of Meetings in 2016. Under these criteria, the organization recorded 12,212 meetings in 2016, which is an increase of 136 meetings from 2015, and a new record.
