Nestled in the heart of Queen Street West, Twist Gallery stands as a canvas for love and celebration. Their 2024 wedding open house was a tapestry of artistry and sophistication, inviting couples to explore the possibilities of crafting their dream weddings within its unique space. The 5000 square foot New York-style loft features skylights, French Arch windows overlooking the city streets, and a 20 foot high ceiling. The space is perfect for weddings with an intimate guest count and can comfortably fit 140 people for a ceremony and a seated reception. For art lovers, this is definitely the space for you. The exhibitions at the gallery are curated by the owner, Nadia Kakridonis through a submission process with changes every month.

Bloomberry & Co transformed the ceremony space to a beautiful lush garden indoors with the pantone colour of the year, “peach fuzz”. Love how the it adds plenty of warmth to the space.
Valary at Vivid & Vogue created three different colourful palettes and design concepts for the tablescapes showcasing various ways in which to customize the space to suit each client’s unique vision and style. Collaborating with Rachel at Make Lemonade Flowers, the two worked in tandem to deliver these style concepts with Rachel designing the centerpieces and Valary designing the day-of stationery and styling the place settings.
Whether you need someone to plan your full wedding from beginning to end, or you’re a little more of a hands-on and prefer a month-of-planner, both Devoted To You (that’s me) and Vivid & Vogue were invited to the open house to share their tips with couples.

Of course, no wedding is complete without a photo booth. Our friends at PhotoboothTO were onsite to demonstrate both their photo station and new audio guestbook.
The combination of live violin by Ellen Daly - Violinist and expertly curated DJ mixes by DJ Floh Back Productions not only entertained but also created a welcoming ambiance that resonated with the diverse tastes of the audience, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of all attendees.
Want to add some fun to your cocktail hour? Consider having a caricature artist to sketch your guests and keep them occupied. Scott from Art Smart Caricature Design was there and it was definitely a hit with all the guests.
Naturally, you can’t have a wedding without an officiant – Martin from Ceremonies With Choice was there to meet and greet guests. Not only he can customize your ceremony, he also provides counseling services to couples as well
Last but not least, it wouldn’t be an Open house without any food right? Gusto 54 Catering kept the masses satiated with their well-stocked harvest station. They are the exclusive caterer at Twist.
