Welcome To Skiddle: GBM Sports

We’re delighted to welcome a growing event brand to the Skiddle fold. 

GBM Sports is a boxing brand operating in Yorkshire, with events in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster under their belt. 

The brand is headed up by former boxer turned promoter Izzy Asif, who since launch, aims to deliver top-notch production and boxing shows for both his fighters and the people who attend. 

GBM’s latest event is notable. Billed as ‘Clash On The Court’, it’s the first boxing event to be held in the newly built Park Community Arena in Sheffield, with top talents and prospects alike stepping in the ring. It’ll take place on the 6th October.

Our partnership with GBM Sports comes as part of our expansion into the boxing world. Just as we did with live music over twenty years ago, we’re looking to use technology to take ticket selling from the physical to the digital, which we feel will modernise the sport from amateur to professional level. 

Speaking to Skiddle, GBM Sports told us:

Having a streamlined process for the fans, promoters and boxers themselves giving all parties access to the information they need at a click of a button.
