The eagerly anticipated return of our promoter bursary program, this year titled ‘The Skiddle Promoter Fund’, has once more granted up-and-coming UK event organisers the opportunity to obtain financial support to bring their distinct event ideas to life.

Opened to applicants throughout July and closed at the turn of August, this summer’s first round of funding has clocked up more than 100 submissions from aspiring promoters located in cities and towns across the UK, each bidding to bring something new and creative to Brtiain’s world-leading event market.

Part of our ‘More Than A Ticket’ ethos, The Skiddle Promoter Fund highlights our passion for the live events industry and the culture that supports it. In addition to any grants awarded, our chosen successful candidates will also receive advice from our experienced in-house team, on everything from marketing strategies to key sales dates, data and more, further bolstering our commitment to strengthening the future of UK music.

After thorough deliberation, we have now concluded our decision-making process. We have carefully chosen a small group of candidates who will each be awarded up to £1000, resulting in a combined grant sum of approximately £12,000. Those who have been successful with their applications will be contacted in the coming weeks.

The second round of The Skiddle Promoter Fund has recently been confirmed and will be announced in the Autumn. To keep up to date regarding the opening of the second round of funding and how to apply for a grant, register for a Skiddle account today to begin receiving our weekly Skiddle Update.

Stay tuned to hear more from the winners of our first round of funding throughout September.
