Skiddle has become the first event ticketing outlet in the UK to partner with Hiyrd, a groundbreaking new jobs app aiming to revolutionise how businesses recruit new staff members.

Just as Skiddle once did, when we first arrived on the scene over two decades ago, Hiyrd aims to disrupt an entire industry in desperate need of modernisation. Whilst we launched ticketing into the 21st century, becoming the UK’s first ticketing app, Hiyrd’s mission is to drag recruitment out of its 400-year-old stagnation, replacing the antiquated process of producing CVs with a modern job-seeking alternative, favouring personality, not paper.

Hiyrd’s roles, or ‘Rolls’ as the company refers to them, are listed as 30-second videos that capture the company’s culture. Each job listing is rounded out with a series of 3 questions set by the employer. The job seeker then gets up to 30 seconds to answer each prompt, offering a chance to display their personality and character to their potential future employer. Once their answers have been submitted, the employer will review each submission before choosing and informing their successful applicant.

At present, there are 4 new roles currently being advertised at Skiddle via the Hiyrd platform. Those 4 roles are:

Business Development Assistant (North West England)

Business Development Manager (Northern Ireland)

Business Development Manager (South West England)

Business Development Manager (London)

To apply for the jobs listed above or to browse other job roles available on Hiyrd, download the iOS app or the Android app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
