Returning to the action in what is without question one of the world’s most renowned cities for music, The Dome Grand Central, recently refurbished and reopened by a collective of local promoters, looks set to be the go-to destination in Liverpool for music fans in 2023.

The grade 2 listed building is about as phenomenal as they come. Boasting a 1,500-capacity space and with stunning original features, the cavernous Victorian-era venue might as well have been purpose-built to harness the sound of live music.

The team behind The Dome held a surprise opening night back in April, featuring tech-house DJ and producer PAWSA, and the scenes from the event look incredible.

We spoke to the promoters behind this ambitious project. They said:

“The Dome is an incredible and unique space, we’re delighted to finally give it the renovation that’s required to get it operating as a multi-purpose venue. We want to welcome promoters and event organisers across the spectrum; from club nights and live music gatherings to immersive experiences and family events”

The venue can hold 1,500 standing or 850 seated (upstairs and downstairs) or for reduced capacity events downstairs-only, 850 standing or 450 seated.
