Welcome To Skiddle: The New Society

We’re delighted to welcome The New Society to the Skiddle fold.

They’re a Black-owned collective, running events since 2017 and bringing the likes of Nia Archives, P-Rallel, KSR, Bawo and more to several venues in Brighton. Their ethos? To shine a light on the innovators of sound system culture and the artists who’ve been influenced by it.

Whether it’s gigs, club nights, free-to-attend panel talks or open-air raves, a spirit of collectivism runs through the work that TNS do. It’s why they’ve been able to carve out a space for themselves over the past few years.

A strong understanding of what their audience wants has helped, too. This is shown in collaborations with sport and youth culture platform VERSUS, rum brand Duppy Share and global sports brands like Nike and Adidas Originals.

Speaking to Skiddle, TNS’s Raf Beaume told us:

“We are excited to be joining Skiddle. As an independent promoter in Brighton, partnering with an independent ticket seller from the UK perfectly aligns with our values of supporting independent artists and culture – all while putting fans in the driving seat.

The New Society will continue to empower artistic independence through this relationship, and we’re extremely optimistic about what the future holds.”

We’re delighted to be working with TNS. Head here to find out more about them.
