Welcome To Skiddle: Bournemouth Reggae Weekender

It gives us enormous pleasure to welcome another fantastic festival experience to Skiddle, the Bournemouth Reggae Weekender.

A vibrant 3-day extravaganza, celebrating rich African-Caribbean heritage, this immersive event promotes a diverse offering of entertainment. In between live performances from a list of incredible local talents and established international acts, guests are encouraged to embark on a mission of cultural exploration, with an array of artisan traders and craft stands on site offering unique shopping and gastro experiences.

While the popular weekender soiree, which takes place annually on the sunny southern coast of the UK, has its roots firmly in music, it’s ethos is much more complex. Setting it apart from many other festivals, the Bournemouth Reggae Weekender is a not-for-profit venture managed by the team behind Afro* Disiac Live Radio, a live streaming station which exists to provide cultural enrichment to the areas surrounding the festivals home and beyond through music.

The festival also boasts a unique and inspiring approach to inclusivity, going above and beyond what is normally expected to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or background, can partake in the joy and rhythm of the event. As part of their unwavering commitment to making sure no one is left out, the festival’s organisers collaborate with local care homes, bringing the festival experience to those who may not have the chance to attend otherwise.

We are honoured to be part of the festival’s journey and look forward to working alongside the team to support their ticketing requirements and long-term growth.
