Skiddle to sponsor Inspirational Venue of The Year category at 2023’s Northern Music Awards

We’re delighted to sponsor the ‘Inspirational Venue of the Year’ Award at 2023’s Northern Music Awards.

Set up by music charity Nordoff and Robbins, the show aims to celebrate the rich live music and events scene in the North West. It will take place on 30th November 2023.

The ‘Inspirational Venue of the Year’ award features two categories: one for venues under 500 capacity and another for venues under 2,000 capacity. Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, Birkinhead’s Future Yard, Manchester’s Albert Hall and Newcastle’s City Hall are all up for nomination across the two categories, with many more esteemed venues vying for an award.

Nordoff and Robbins will share half of the proceeds from our sponsorship with the Music Venue Trust, which will help the MVT carry out its vital work for grassroots live music.

Skiddle was conceived in an independent venue in Preston 22 years ago and we have been supporting them ever since.
