Boston Public Library | Boston, Massachusetts

As Boston wedding planners, this list would not be complete without the inclusion of the Boston Public Library. The BPL is the perfect venue for a couple who wants a historic venue without venturing outside of the city proper. The venue is Bates Hall, the reading room in which most weddings take place, was built in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986.

 

Rosecliff | Newport, Rhode Island

If your dream is to be married at a Gatsby-esque estate, Rosecliff is the venue for you! This Newport Mansion was built in 1899 by famed architect Stanford White who modeled it after the Trianon at Versailles. Commissioned by a silver heiress and her husband, Rosecliff saw many magical soirées and welcomed many famous faces. What better place to host your coastal wedding than a house built for celebration?

The Crane Estate is a gorgeous hilltop mansion wedding venue that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The Estate has three amazing venue options for your wedding including the Great House, the private Steep Hill Beach and the Italian-style Barn. The 59-room Stuart-style mansion was designed by a world-renowned architect and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998.

Castle Hill Inn | Newport, Rhode Island

Castle Hill Inn is a stunning Relais & Chateaux property located in Newport, Rhode Island. The Inn has a storied history that makes it the perfect place to start any love story, from acting as an impromptu base during WWII to hosting Hollywood royalty such as Grace Kelly. The Inn was commissioned as a private home in 1874 by marine biologist and naturalist from Harvard University.
