Whitelisting allows you to restrict access to only people that you approve. This can help when preparing for the event as you can work directly inside your session before making it publicly accessible--which means less work and no need to set up a separate test event, everything can be done in one secure session.

1. Test your event among your team team
With large conferences, it’s always nice to be able to go into the event and test everything before making it public. Whitelisting makes it easy for you to only allow your teammates to go in and access the event, so you can make sure the audience gets to see exactly what you want them to see.
2. Prevent unwanted guests from joining your Session
Whitelisting also makes it easy for you to keep your sessions completely private. You can use the Whitelist to verify an attendee list, making those attendees the only people allowed to enter the Session. This will add an extra layer of security to your sessions that may hold sensitive information.
Under your interaction settings, go to the “Data Security” tab. There, you will be able to toggle on and off “Whitelist Attendees” and make sure “ID Capture” is set to “Email Address”.
Once you click on “Manage Whitelist”, the following menu will be prompted on your screen.
To add people, copy and paste a list of emails directly from excel or any document, or just type up the emails you want whitelisted.
Easily manage your whitelisted attendees through the search bar below.
Now, if someone tries to access your session or event and they’re not on the whitelist, they will see this message.
