the iconic los angeles institution, flipper’s, recently opened its doors to the roller boogie palace, an all-new skating rink in white city, london. opened in november 2022, flipper’s is a 34,000-square-foot venue located in a refurbished power station. the two-floor, grade ii-listed building is called exhibition london, near westfield. in 2021 the group saw its successful revival in new york’s rockefeller center, now the new venue in london marks the first permanent and all-year-round flippers venue in the world since 1981.
aimed at the luxury market, flipper’s is a giant roller skating rink that will double as a live music venue, diner and pro skate shop making it more of an all-round social hub. co-founders liberty ross and kevin wall partnered with usher to launch the spectacular roller disco palace that incorporates a swish roller skate rink and live music. they call their onsite diner and catering, hot dogs & caviar as a restaurant named after the original at flipper’s la. think american diner classics, with an elevated twist such as wagyu smash burgers with caviar fries.
it is available for private hire, both as a roller skate rink or as a more blank canvas, making it perfect for hosting your next brand event, corporate offsite, team building event, birthday, or private party. capacity for private hire is 1750 people. glamour and famous faces helped make flipper’s a place to be in la and the venue aims to be nothing less!
