Fast Forward 15 launches annual charity initiative

Fast Forward 15, the mentoring programme for women in the events and hospitality industry, announces its 10th anniversary fundraising event; Beyond Labels: Bringing a Newlife to Events

Taking place alongside International Confex at Excel London on 28 and 29 February, the pop-up Boutique will sell designer and high street clothing at discounted prices. All proceeds from ticket sales and boutique purchases will go towards Newlife: The Charity for Disabled Children.

Early bird tickets are now on sale – click here for more information and to register. Once purchased, you can attend the boutique at any time throughout the two days.

The first 100 tickets sold will be invited to the opening drinks reception at 12pm on 28 February, with a celebrity guest appearance!

Fiona Robinson, Newlife’s CEO, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Fast Forward 15 for the Beyond Labels boutique, where you will be able to buy brand new fashion from leading High Street names for a fraction of the price. And as all proceeds from the boutique will go directly towards providing essential equipment and support for disabled and terminally ill children across the UK, you can feel good about every purchase.

“There are now 1.5 million disabled and terminally ill children in the UK, but around 700,000 are living without the essential equipment they so desperately need. Here at Newlife, we provide life-changing specialist disability equipment as grants and loans to thousands of children each year, giving children and their families an improved quality of life and enabling them to thrive.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible to the Beyond Labels boutique and raising much-needed funds to ensure a brighter future for the families we serve.”

Alongside the Boutique, will be workshops hosted by Mike Ford, Grateful Lemon and Sophia, Fine Tuned Wardrobe – more speakers to be confirmed in due course, view the full agenda here.

Plus the inaugural International Confex Run, in partnership with Go! Running Tours and Beyond Labels will take place on the morning of 29 February. Details will be available on the Confex website.

Jack Newey, International Confex Event Director commented that “The team are thrilled to announce our ongoing partnership with Fast Forward 15 heading into 2024, bringing unique initiatives to the upcoming International Confex. We wholeheartedly encourage attendees to visit the Boutique and get involved in the morning charity run – together, the event is set to make a huge impact!”
