we’re excited to uncover this month’s newest foodie hotspot, eataly. dubbed the ‘uk’s largest italian food emporium’ this foodie paradise next to liverpool street promises ‘a celebration of the country’s best food and drink’. offering over 5,000 quality italian and local food products with counters ranging from a butchers to a ‘cheese laboratory’, it promises to give a taste of the italy we have all been craving. the soft launch this month will also see the opening of il vino; london’s largest italian wine cellar housing more than 2,000 italian wine labels.
this month there is even more to experience — on the 20th of may (the official full store launch date) eataly are planning some fully immersive classes and events that we think would be perfect for our clients. from private team building and tasting experiences such as hands-on fresh pasta classes and guided wine and cheese tastings to parties in their two exclusive in-house restaurants la terrazza di eataly and terra (from september) they offer a whole host of experiences designed for the ‘food lovers and the food curious’.
for bigger events or celebrations there is also the opportunity for a completely private storewide, festival-style takeover where you can design your own dedicated event for your team or clients.
