Hilton Birmingham Metropole and NEC Group, the UK’s leading live events business, have announced a partnership that will further develop the customer experience for exhibitors, organisers and visitors on the Group’s campus.

The new partnership will allow NEC Group and Resorts World Arena visitors to take advantage of the hotel’s ideal access, directly connected to the NEC and only 800m from Resorts World Arena.

With 795 rooms and suites from classic double to executive, Hilton Birmingham Metropole provides comfortable stay options for every type of visitor. Located at the heart of the NEC Campus, the hotel is easily accessible from the M6, M42 and M40, and only two miles from Birmingham International Airport and Rail Station.

Hilton Birmingham Metropole also boasts a stunning on-campus location at the edge of Pendigo Lake, the freshwater lake where a variety of bird and fish species have been recorded. At the hotel, guests can take advantage of three restaurants, a health club and 24-hour fitness centre.

Nicola Underhill, General Manager, Hilton Birmingham Metropole, said: “We’ve enjoyed a long and happy relationship with the NEC, where we share one of the very best locations for international and domestic meetings and events of every size. As the NEC’s biggest and longest serving convention hotel, and with our newly refurbished hotel, there really has never been a better time for us to be working together to bring more events onto the campus. We’ve got new bars, new lifestyle and gym amenities, new bedrooms and some very cool restaurants. We’re a destination in our own right, on site at the NEC.”

Lisa Jobins, Regional Partnerships Sales Executive for the NEC Group, comments: “As the powerhouse behind some of the UK’s biggest event venues, we recognise the importance of partnerships with local hotels to provide an array of accommodation options to cater to the diverse range of customers we welcome, and I look forward to working closely with the team at Hilton Birmingham Metropole.”
