Diary: Transforming Professional Standards in Event Management

You are invited to join Event Professionals and Academics to kick start work on the accreditation process and development of professional standards in sustainable event management. You can attend onsite or virtually on Thursday 19th August.

The session aims to provide Event Professionals with the opportunity to:

• Learn about the accreditation process for kitemarking existing courses
• Actively shape both style and content of the professional standards to enable evidence based progression routes to membership levels

Hosted by ACC Liverpool – Kerry Mulloy, Director of Events and Operations, ACC Liverpool Group will welcome us on Thursday 19th August for coffee on arrival from 10am.

Opening Session – 11:00am Setting out the ‘Plan of Action’ – The day will be divided into workshop sessions both before and after lunch to develop the frameworks for the standards with the common thread of sustainability and agree the plan for accreditation.

Advance Registration – Participation is open to both IEM members, and non-members from all parts of the Events Sector
