EXHIBITOR's Certified Trade Show Marketer Program Now Accepting Applications for the Joe Ries Educational Grant

In honor of Joe Ries, the gentleman who put his heart into the well-being of the Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) program for over 20 years as its Academic Advisor, EXHIBITOR is pleased to establish an ongoing educational grant in Joe's name. Joe was passionate about maintaining the integrity of the program and cared deeply for its leaders, candidates and graduates. He was a strong encourager for all. 
The Joe Ries Educational Grant will be awarded to one new CTSM candidate each year. It will cover the full cost of certification, including session fees, exam registration, and portfolio registration.
This grant is available for new enrollees in the program who have all, or most, of their sessions left to complete. The Joe Ries Educational Grant winner may complete their sessions at EXHIBITORLIVE, EXHIBITORFastTrak conferences, and online via EXHIBITOR eTrak. Entries must be received by April 11, 2022. The CTSM designation is awarded by EXHIBITOR in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach and reflects adherence to the highest educational standards of trade show and event marketing. The CTSM program covers a comprehensive set of knowledge and skills for trade show and corporate event marketers. The CTSM core curriculum includes 23 required sessions and 7.5 hours of elective sessions for a total 42 hours of classroom study. Topics include: Measurement & Analytics, Planning & Execution, Marketing & Sales, Management & Leadership, Global Exhibit Marketing, Exhibits, Experiences & Events, and Personal & Career. Upon completion of the coursework, candidates take a comprehensive exam and write an applied learning portfolio. Currently there are more than 4,000 candidates enrolled in the program.
