Cvent and hivr.ai Partner to Automate Meetings and Groups Sales
Jim Abramson - Cvent Vice President of Product Management

hivr.ai, a travel technology start-up that automates meeting and group sales processes for conference hotels, today announced an integration partnership with Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider. The new integration will allow hivr.ai users to better automate and manage the Cvent request for proposal (RFP) process, enabling hotels to increase response rates and save time through improved efficiency. A first iteration of the integration is expected to launch in the first half of 2023.

hivr.ai customers will be able to automate their response to meeting and group booking requests coming from Cvent, speeding up the booking process by up to 70%. In addition, hivr.ai synchronises the data coming from Cvent with the hotel’s PMS and Sales & Catering systems, such as SAP TMS4Hotels, Opera Cloud and many more. These integrations reduce the risk of errors and allows hotels to save time that would otherwise be spent on manual data entry.

The more than 90,000* event planners around the world who use Cvent to source their group hotels and venues will benefit from increased response rates and faster proposals from any hotel using hivr.ai. The integration between Cvent and hivr.ai will show availability and rates for hotel rooms, meeting space, food and beverage, and equipment, helping to address the most common questions planners have.

The first global hotel chain to leverage the integration between Cvent and hivr.ai will be NH Hotel Group, part of Minor Hotels, which operates more than 350 hotels in 33 countries. The goal of NH Hotel Group is to receive all incoming RFPs from Cvent directly into SAP TMS4Hotels through the use of hivr.ai and streamline the currently manual group sales response process.

“We are very excited about the partnership between hivr.ai and Cvent. When it comes to automation and digitisation, the meetings and groups category still lags behind other travel sectors such as corporate and leisure. This partnership addresses that and creates significant benefits for both hotels and event planners through automation, such as increasing response rates, which in turn helps hoteliers drive more revenue”, said Felix Undeutsch, Co-Founder of hivr.ai.

Commenting on the partnership, Jim Abramson, Cvent’s vice president of product management, said: “We’re thrilled to announce this integration with hivr.ai, which further digitises and automates the meeting and group RFP process. We are proud to partner with companies like hivr.ai to bring true innovation to our industry and further enhance the collaboration between meeting planners and hotels and venues.”

Fernando Vives, Chief Commercial Officer at NH Hotel Group has declared “We are very happy to participate in this process of technological integration and proud to be the first to take advantage of it, a bet in line with the company’s commitment to the development of digitisation and innovation to offer our customers a unique experience”.
