A couple of months ago, Tess was off evening so I was joined by guest host Bob Toovey of Event Planner News and we sat down to chat with the creator behind my favorite event technology of the last two years: Stagetimer.IO.
For those who know me, it’s no secret that I am a massive fan of this product. Stagetimer is completely revolutionizing the way we display the remaining time in a session. Gone are the days of having to rent those clunky red number displays from the in-house AV company.
Stagetimer offers a range of remarkable features that take it up a notch. Need to count up? No problem at all. Want to elegantly showcase the time of day with a sleek clock format? Consider it done. Desire to send messages directly to presenters via the confidence monitor? Enter Stagetimer. And those times when you want the text to flash or change colors to really grab their attention because they just won’t stop talking? Well, guess what? Stagetimer can do that too.
Additionally, Stagetimer allows me to share the timer with my entire team, making sure everyone stays perfectly synchronized. All it takes is sharing a link, and they’ll have access to a fullscreen timer, an agenda page detailing the session rundown, and even a moderator page for displaying messages.
What’s even more exciting is that Stagetimer seamlessly integrates with other industry tools like Companion, all thanks to its open API (just ask your AV person, they’ll know).
Accessing Stagetimer is a breeze, whether through my web browser or natively on my Windows or Mac system. I can confidently take charge of the stage even without an internet connection.
Join us as we have the privilege of chatting with the brilliant mind behind this innovative creation: Lukas Hermann, a talented Full-Stack Engineer and entrepreneur.
