Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Course, Spa, and Marina announced it will join over 30 other Hyatt properties in offering Work from Hyatt: Offsite, a corporate retreat concept created in response to the evolution of remote work. Work from Hyatt: Offsite provides teams the opportunity to reconnect, reinvigorate and relax together through unique team building experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways both on– and off–property. This retreat makes it easy for groups of all sizes to gather in meeting spaces with personalized menus and signature teambuilding activities. Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay offers interactive glow golf experiences with inflatable targets, LED glow golf balls and glow in the dark putting green challenges, as well as paddleboard yoga, archery, guided kayak excursions, an Escape Room, and more.

Kyle Travis, Event Producer for Levitt Pavilion Arlington, was recently awarded the 2022 WOW award (World of Wonderful), presented by the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), City of Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, ACVB President & CEO Brent DeRaad, along with Rangers Captain of the Texas Rangers. The WOW Award recognizes a front-line professional who goes to great lengths to create an exceptional and memorable experience for guests at an Arlington hospitality related organization. “Kyle’s dedication to his community, servant's heart and leadership are qualities I have personally witnessed,” said Letatia Tekyl, Executive Director of Levitt Pavilion Arlington. “I have never met a more dedicated and customer service-oriented person. He is truly an exceptional and hardworking employee.” 


Chris Caldwell has been named President of Events, Experiential Marketing, and Development for the award-winning hospitality group Barton G. In his new role, Caldwell will be responsible for the continued growth and evolution of Barton G. to capitalize on the opportunities and changing landscape of the hospitality and event industries. “We are happy to have Chris Caldwell lead our company as the Barton G. brand continues to grow and flourish,” says Founder and CEO, Barton G. Sequence Events co-founders Adam Sloyer and Lizz Torgovnick have been recognized as BizBash’s Industry Innovators of 2022. Sloyer has built his event career through a decade of experience at small agencies and a global event planning company, while Torgovnick started in the events industry as the office manager at Paint the Town Red. Together, they created the award-winning Sequence Events, and they continue to inspire their team everyday as thought leaders and experiential experts in the industry.

Portuguese company EUROPALCO, the largest provider of solutions for events in Southern Europe, has launched STUDIO EUROPALCO, a new concept of hybrid events that mixes the best of the face-to-face and virtual formats using Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR). Its objective is to transform the distance into a benefit and get an exponential increase in audiences as a result. Any event that takes place at the company’s headquarters in Lisbon can be broadcasted globally. EUROPALCO uses XR technology, which combines Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and Augmented Reality technologies. “We created an offer that combines the best of the distance and the face-to-face world in view of our clients' needs because we believe this new format of events is here to stay”, says Pedro Magalhães, founder and CEO of the company. 


Main Light, LLC, a preeminent dry hire rental partner, has recently added CHAUVET Professional’s Color STRIKE M LED strobe/wash luminaires to their offerings. These new units are already in stock in Main Light’s three shops, located in Wilmington, DE; Nashville, TN; and Las Vegas, NV. Chauvet’s Color STRIKE M, using RGB and white LEDs, is an IP65 rated motorized strobe/wash with two ultra-bright, white light tube elements surrounded by a color-mixing and pixel-mappable face. A versatile solution, this strobe light can double as a wash fixture with 180° tilt range to position saturated color washes wherever needed.
