The IMEX-EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award was designed to recognise event professionals who are driving sustainability forward through innovation, collaboration and idea sharing.

After 25 years as a teacher, Cynthia Kanai has embarked on a new challenge: CEO of Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, a property right next door to her previous workspace at Palm Beach Day Academy. The Meetings Industry Association appoints new vice chair

The Meetings Industry Association (mia) has welcomed Nigel Collett, director of 1 Wimpole Street, to its board as vice chair. Nigel was officially voted into the position during the mia’s latest council meeting earlier this month. He takes over as vice chair from Rowan Kitching, director of events at the Honourable Artillery Company. Rowan officially stepped down from the role at the mia’s Annual General Meeting in March ahead of her impending maternity leave.
