Are You Feeling the “Busyness”?

Feeling a little overwhelmed by the ‘busyness” of everything you have on your plate? I have a few pro tips that might help you stay organized and minimize the “busy anxiety.”

ONE: I plan everything in 15-minute blocks. You would be amazed how much happens in 15 minutes.

TWO: I use a web-based app to plan absolutely everything. Planning your life on a calendar may sound boring, but it cuts down on missed deadlines, overlapping meetings, and pushed-forward tasks and ensures everything gets done.

THREE: when I can, I keep meetings to 30 minutes.

FOUR: I take breaks (you guessed it, 15-minute breaks) four times a day. This is a lunch hour broken up into 4. On days I dont have lunch meetings, not only does this help keep my mind calm, it’s just enough time to jump on my treadmill, make a few personal appointments, return calls and eat something without starting to feel anxious about getting back to my computer.

To help you stay organized and on track, here are some of my favourite productivity tools:

Asana: Allows for task organization and collaboration with team members. It’s user-friendly and integrates with other tools like Google Drive and Trello.

Trello: A visual project management tool that uses a kanban-style board for task organization and ideas. It’s easy to use and promotes collaboration.

Monday.com: Offers a variety of templates and integrations for managing tasks and collaborating with team members.

ClickUp: An all-in-one tool that allows for task management, time tracking, and collaboration with team members. It’s customizable and integrates with other tools.

Slack: A messaging and collaboration tool that promotes real-time communication with team members and clients.
Todoist: If you want a simple to-do list and task management tool that allows for organization and reminders.

Airtable: Can handle large amounts of data and allows for customization.

Evernote: A note-taking and organization tool that allows for idea capturing and thought organization, with the ability to sync across multiple devices.

RescueTime: A time management tool that tracks productivity and provides detailed reports and suggestions for improved time management.

These are just a few of the many project management and productivity tools available, and the right one for you may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.

Can you guess which one I use? #projectmanagement #events
