Exclusive Collection shares on-going B Corp actions and outcomes

Exclusive Collection has published its most recent Impact Statement outlining its up-to-date actions and initiatives and their positive influences on the company’s workers, customers, community, and environment.

Exclusive Collection is the UK’s first hotel company to achieve B Corp certification and is relentless in its pursuit of using business as a force for good through measurement, improvement and accountability of its actions and initiatives.

The latest document highlights ongoing programmes focussed on; reduce, reuse, recycle, educating its supply chain, the hotels’ contributions to their local communities, as well as activities around the company’s carbon road map.

One of the most far-reaching initiatives that has been put in place is working with Land App. Land App’s technology is enabling Exclusive to use its hotels, estates, and landscapes as an opportunity to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and help preserve the wider environment. Each estate has been surveyed, mapped, and planned to help better understand each location’s habitats and to promote Exclusive’s stewardship of the local countryside and environment. An example of this is the planting of a six hectares vineyard at South Lodge, with fellow B Corp brand Ridgeview Wine Estate.

Projects and outcomes are detailed here and a full 2-year round up will be published in October 2023 to mark Exclusive Collection’s 2-year anniversary as a B Corp.

Danny Pecorelli, MD of Exclusive Collection, comments: “The entire team is behind what we stand for and it’s tremendous to see so many of their brilliant ideas now in place in the hotels and estates. We know that our business clients want to work with likeminded organisations, and we know our leisure guests and members want to invest their money with brands that care. It means that we are constantly in pursuit of being a better company that makes better decisions, with the overall objective of bettering our impact on the planet.”
