Eventist Group has won the prestigious catering contract for RHS Chelsea Flower Show, sponsored by The Newt in Somerset. The five-year contract will see Eventist Group provide diverse food and drink opportunities for more than 100,000 guests over the six-day event.

The annual event is a highlight for the Royal Horticultural Society and marks the start of the summer corporate hospitality season. Eventist Group will mobilise each of its four catering and hospitality brands and bring to life RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s spotlight on the positive impact that gardening has on health and wellbeing, as well as the environment. This theme, along with a focus on sustainability, will be reflected through Eventist’s well considered use of food and drink, restaurant and hospitality design and delivery of high service standards.

RHS Chelsea has an enviable reputation for outstanding entertaining, with quality food and drink experiences. A key addition to 2023’s Show will be acclaimed chef Skye Gyngell who is noted for her elegant cooking with a distinct seasonal focus. Skye will partner with Alison Price & Company, Eventist’s luxe food and event design brand, as Chef Patron of Spring Garden at Chelsea, a beautifully styled, upscale destination dining experience for intimate and exclusive groups and private clients. Spring Garden at Chelsea will be discreetly situated amidst dappled woodland within the historic grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for guests to relax and embrace the simplicity and seasonality of Skye’s food.

Eventist’s other catering brands will service further areas of the six-day event; Zafferano will cater for the opening Gala evening for over 5,000 guests. As one of London’s go-to event caterers for high profile dinners, awards, and milestone occasions, Zafferano marries well-sourced seasonal food and exceptional design with discreet service levels.

Food by Dish will manage the elegant Ranelagh restaurant and vibrant Champagne and Seafood restaurant, as well as providing exceptional afternoon teas in the Drawing Room. Tapenade will be raising the standards of retail catering with inspired menus and designs in the Thames View and Rock Bank restaurants and also catering for exhibitors and media hospitality.

An iconic event in the gardening and social calendar, RHS Chelsea Flower Show attracts over 140,000 visitors and represents the very best in horticulture from UK and international designers and growers. Bursting with sensational gardens by world renowned names, alongside impressive displays of award-winning spring plants and flowers by the UK’s finest growers filling the Great Pavilion.

Tim Stevens, CEO and Founder of Eventist Group, comments; “It was always our long-term plan to win major sporting and social events with a proactive collaboration between our four fabulous catering brands. We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this incredible event which is one of the crown jewels in the event catering world. While RHS Chelsea Flower Show is steeped in history, we are all looking to create a new tradition and a real legacy around sustainability in partnership with the RHS”.

He continues, “The size and scope of the Show offers exciting opportunities for all four of our catering brands to showcase their creative flair, wonderful teams, and beautiful food. To top it all, we are delighted that Skye is heading our AP&Co collaboration with the creation of an incredibly special pop-up restaurant, Spring Garden at Chelsea. Our work is already underway with menus being planned, logistics and staffing requirements being honed and the creative design and styling of our restaurants and bars being finalised.’’
