Hit the Road for Your Next Meeting in the Midwest’s Coolest Venue

One of the many great features of the Harley-Davidson Museum is the variety of spaces that range in size from something to accommodate a group of 10 to an outdoor party for a group of 10,000

You don’t need to ride a hog to appreciate the “cool” factor at the Harley-Davidson Museum campus. Twenty acres of museum, MOTOR Bar & Restaurant, and outdoor landscape, situated along the Menomonee River in downtown Milwaukee, exude a hip, American vibe. Your company can take a trip into the best of Harley culture without ever hopping on one of the company’s iconic bikes.

Opened in July 2008, the museum has hosted events ranging from picnics and weddings to shareholder meetings, conventions, and trade shows; everything from an intimate to an extensive guest list. Public events hosted onsite include Tacofest and Milwaukee Rally Weekend.

“One of the many great features of the Harley-Davidson Museum is the variety of spaces that range in size from something to accommodate a group of 10 to an outdoor party for a group of 10,000,” said Annie Champeau, director of sales for the museum. “Our spaces come with a variety of aesthetics from industrial and raw, like the Garage, to elegant, with draped ceilings and chandeliers in our seasonal structure, Chrome.”

All of the indoor space is equipped with an integrated AV package, and the rental of many spaces includes complimentary museum admission tickets and/or discounts for the shop. Spaces such as Chrome and MOTOR Bar & Restaurant are often utilized for weddings, galas, and employee parties, while Rumble, the Garage, and Peace are well suited to meetings. Free outdoor parking is available for up to approximately 500 cars or 1,000 motorcycles.

MOTOR Bar & Restaurant seats as many as 200 indoors, with more space available on the riverfront patios, complete with fire pits and lounge furniture. Executive chef and Milwaukee native Josh Peterson serves up American classics and Wisconsin favorites such as fish fry and Booyah stew, although the Harley-Davidson can also arrange for any other food suitable to the event at hand. A wide array of partner vendors handles everything from audiovisual, lighting, tables, chairs, and tents, know the space at its capabilities, and are trained in the required policies and procedures. Events can be customized with everything from tours and speakers to scavenger hunts.

“The amount of team building is only limited by the imagination,” said Champeau. “The Harley-Davidson Museum offers enhancements to get team building going.”

Space tends to fill up quickly, so it’s best to get in touch with a sales manager early in the planning process. The Harley-Davidson Museum takes bookings up to 18 months before an event date. When it’s time to plan your next event, get revved-up for something new and different, a little edgy and a whole lot of cool.
