Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Acquires Majority Stake in the China Hospital Construction Conference

Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, the joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and the Sinopharm Group, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in the China Hospital Construction Conference (CHCC). CHCC is Asia’s leading event in comprehensive and innovative solutions for Hospital Design, Build and Management. Launched in 1999, the event spans over 100,000sqm featuring over 600 exhibitors and 16 themed displays. In addition to the trade show exhibition, CHCC also produces over 80 conference sessions and offers excellent learning opportunities, knowledge sharing and information exchange for over 10,000 hospital designers and managers every year. Commenting on the acquisition, Hugh Jones, CEO of Reed Exhibitions, said: “We have been very impressed by the CHCC team’s continuous drive to innovate and build a broad platform for the coordinated development of the whole industry.
