Paris is Beautiful This Time of Year

This is one of the most beautifully designed rooms we have seen in a long time. From the brilliant and creative minds at Fab Fete comes “Bianca’s Parisian Bridal Shower.”

Nominated for “Best Event Design/Décor $0-$50,000” and produced by Michelle Garber, Tamara Niyazov, and their team at Fab Fete, Bianca’s shower was a feast for the senses that proves once again why they are among the very best in Canada.

The inspiration for Bianca’s bridal shower was fashion and femininity set in Paris. The entire reception space was made to look like a chic Paris street surrounded by a beautiful garden. The walls were vinyled with pink brick, and several shop windows were custom made and installed around the room, with cute displays of florals, pastries, and cakes. Black and white striped awnings were hung above each “shop” window, accented by black street lamps and candles placed beside each window.
The entire floor was vinyled with large black and white stripes that ran up the long, 12ft bar. Blush pink sofas with black & white striped pillows, white coffee tables and ottomans created a cozy yet chic lounge section. The guest tables consisted of round tables topped with blush pink satin linen and napkins. The tabletop decor included black rimmed glass charger plates, black/gold cutlery, black and white striped butter plates, and black/gold rimmed glassware.

The flowers included light spring blooms of peonies, spray roses, anemones, roses and greenery in shades of ivory, white and blush pink. An assortment of large, green planters and planters filled with pink and white roses of varying heights were placed around the room to make it feel like a beautiful French garden. 

All the stationery exuded the chic, Parisian vibe, such as the Seating Chart-Black board and White menus shaped like a flower that opened to display the menu. The table numbers, cocktail napkins and other unique elements accented the theme, such as a perfumerie and floral cart.

Guests felt like they were transported to the streets of Paris, where they received beautiful floral bouquets, custom perfume bottles, and fashion illustrations from a professional artist.
