the view at royal college of surgeons

headquarters to the royal college of surgeons of england, the view is an events venue that was fully reimagined in 2021 with a focus on sustainability and innovation. it boasts a large terrace overlooking lincoln’s inn fields making it an impressive space while their new initiatives such as 111 solar panels, 98.5% of total waste being recycled and only using sustainably caught fish in their menus, means they’re on track for breeam excellence certification.

the barbican

a grade ii listed building, the barbican is one of the world’s leading arts centres and an excellent example of brutalist architecture. the venue have committed to reducing carbon emissions from their own operations to net zero by 2027, and by 2040, their supply chain. their iconic conservatory encourages biodiversity providing home to exotic fish, terrapins and over 1,500 species of temperate plants and trees.

oceandiva london, is the first revolutionary co2 neutral event venue on the river thames. it spans across three decks and is a blank canvas space that provides a unique venue to host sensational events with a difference. the vessel’s capabilities have been designed to allow clients to customise and create an event that brings their vision to life with sustainability considered. for example, measuring the carbon emissions of each event and offsetting that with initiatives such as tree planting.

wild by tart

wild by tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 sq. ft site combines a restaurant, bar, retail store, events space, and photography studio. they aim to contribute positively to the world by buying high quality ingredients from local suppliers, who use production methods that are positive for the environment, animal welfare and their employees.

set in london’s leicester square, the londoner hotel is grand in scale yet intimate in atmosphere, naming themselves the first-of-its-kind super boutique 5* hotel. they received an industry-first £175m green loan funded for innovative, sustainable technologies to help achieve an ‘excellent’ breeam rating, with 30% less carbon usage than regulations demand.
