Eventbase Refreshed! Why We Launched a New Look for 2023

The resurgence of live events has re-invigorated our industry and the Eventbase team as well. In 2022 we welcomed many new and returning customers, returned to profitability and more than doubled the size of our team. So with all this momentum and fresh energy, we felt it was the perfect time to refresh our brand! The Magic of Live Events.

We’re excited to unveil a new look for Eventbase, inspired by our vision to shape the future of live events. We have modernized our logo, introduced a vibrant new color palette and updated our design style across the company.


Evolution of a Brand

It’s been a huge effort to update a brand that has supported us for the past 9 years. For this task we chose the exceptionally talented team at MIU Design, a full-service branding studio based in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.


The MIU team led a large team of Eventbasers through a branding workshop, identifying what differentiates us and makes us tick. They then crafted a Strategic Brand Platform that positions Eventbase and articulates where we’re going, with recommendations on how to enhance our brand voice and tone. Then came the process of aligning the Brand Platform with a dynamic new Visual Identity. We quickly agreed on the key components, including a range of rich gradients featuring pops of color, new fonts, graphical elements and the use of colorized image treatments. Our new logo maintains the 3D shape of our original logo, but introduces color gradients that bring it to life. We now have two distinct logo treatments, one for dark backgrounds and another for when it’s overlaid on brighter colors.


We’ve now introduced our new brand into our website, with a completely new website on its way, and rolled out a host of refreshed marketing materials, including our new ebook, Get Grounded in the Latest Event Tech Trends. Our new brand was also adorning our trade show booth at the RainFocus INSIGHT conference, and on-stage for our presentations at the event too.
