Chicago’s Four Seasons Hotel: A Prime Venue for Meeting and Event Planners

For meeting and event planners, the venue is paramount, and the recently announced 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards just made the decision a tad easier. The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago has not only been named one of the World’s 50 Best Hotels but has also secured a spot among Chicago’s Top 10 Hotels.

Having planned more than a few events that took place at the Four Seasons, I can tell you, it is one of the few hotels that lives up to the hype.

Stephen Wancha, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago General Manager, expressed gratitude, stating, “It’s an honor to be recognized on a global scale. Knowing that both our local and international guests value our services this much is deeply heartening.”

These accolades from Condé Nast Traveler, a leader in global travel evaluations for the past 36 years, are derived from feedback from over 520,000 readers, underscoring their authenticity and significance.

Chicago’s own recognition is noteworthy. For seven straight years, my home has been deemed the Best Big City by international travelers. This commendation certainly complements the pride and prestige of the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. As Wancha notes, “Being a premier hotel in a city that is consistently celebrated magnifies our achievement. We take pride in reflecting Chicago’s vibrant energy, from its delectable cuisine, innovative drinks, rich arts, melodious music, and the famed hospitality the city radiates.”

But what makes this even more enticing for event planners is Chicago’s accessibility. With two major airports, Midway and O’Hare, getting to the city is a breeze from virtually any corner of the world (although, we are currently in year two of a three year overhaul of the Kennedy expressway which is the main artery from O’Hare to the city). This ease of travel complements the city’s popularity, as suggested by the projected surge in visitor numbers, expected to surpass the impressive 50 million mark from 2022.

Additionally, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago isn’t the only Four Seasons property to be celebrated. Others, like the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Florida and Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, have also been spotlighted. You can peruse the full 2023 Reader’s Choice Awards on the Condé Nast Traveler website or in their November print issue (You won’t get the print issue).

For event planners considering Chicago as their next venue, the Four Seasons Hotel offers a luxurious experience in the heart of a globally acclaimed city.
