DRPG WRAPPED UP 2022 WITH FESTIVE CHRISTMAS CONFERENCE FOR 400 TEAM MEMBERS

DRPG, leading creative communications group, ended the year with its annual Christmas conference at its headquarters in the West Midlands. The conference, which was held on Wednesday 21st December 2022, brought together over 400 team members to celebrate the festive season and reflect on the past year.

The conference featured a variety of activities, including team building exercises where people from across all creative and business functions were tasked to generate innovative solutions to contribute to the profit goals set for 2023. The conference ended with a Christmas in Wonderland themed party and an internal awards ceremony celebrating categories that are based on the company’s values and voted through peer-to-peer nominations. Head of Finance, Rachel Fortune-Hough, took home the team member of the year award for her dedication to Group Services.

Last year saw DRPG make several investments, including the opening of a US office in Atlanta and the expansion of its Northern European operations in Cologne. This included expanding its Creative team to specialise in new technologies such as Metaverse solutions, immersive Holoplot, and AI technologies, which were all demonstrated at the company’s Bigtalk event in September. The company also invested in its training academy as well as establishing a ‘Next-Gen’ board of younger team members to innovate across all areas of the organisation.

In addition to its business success, DRPG was recognised for its achievements, winning 41 awards for its work and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and Sustainable Development. The company is also working towards becoming a B-Corp certified company in 2023. DRPG was also a sponsor and official provider for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, held in the West Midlands, and produced work for other sponsors.

DRPG also made a positive impact in the community, completing 58 CSR projects including supporting educational institutions in promoting the creative industries, raising awareness of homelessness, and raising funds for charities. The company also held a ‘Make a Moment’ Children’s Christmas Party at its Hartlebury studios to provide a special experience for children affected by cancer.

CEO of DRPG, Dale Parmenter commented, “We are proud of the positive impact we have had in the creative communications industry this year, and we are excited to continue innovating and delivering high-quality work for our clients.

“It was a pleasure to host many Christmas parties over the past month at our specialist studio complex, from clients to charities, and it was perfect to end the year with a festive celebration for our own team, partners and freelancers. At DRPG, we believe in the importance of building a positive and supportive workplace culture, and the annual Christmas conference is a chance for us to come together as a team and strengthen our relationships.”
