Story Events have opened applications for their #StoryGivesBack CSR initiative, inviting new and small event suppliers to apply for a free stand at the London Summer Event Show on 22 – 23 January 2019 at Banking Hall.

Since its inception in 2017, #StoryGivesBack has helped small, start-up event suppliers present their offerings and services to over 3,000 event buyers.

Clare McAndrew, Show Director at Story Events comments, “Since launching the initiative we have helped over 15 small event suppliers increase their presence in the event market. It’s a great way to give back to the industry we know and love while at the same time adding fresh and exciting content to the Show for our visitors.”

Winner of #StoryGivesBack 2018, Chris Wooldridge from Fluffy Puffin highlights that the initiative was a great boost to his business, commenting “We’re now a recommended and listed entertainment supplier with Thames Luxury Charters (.) and gained five pieces of corporate business off the back of the Show. #StoryGivesBack puts you in direct contact with some very influential event organisers, giving you a platform to grow in the events market.”

Small or new event suppliers can apply to be considered for the 2019 initiative by contacting Grace Turner on grace@storyevents.co.uk by the 1st September 2018. A vote will then be put to the Show visitors towards the end of the year to decide the chosen 4 suppliers.
