Lorenz Hassenstein
Lorenz Hassenstein has been named the president and chief executive officer of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. He takes the place of Barry Smith, who will resign on Feb. 1. Hassenstein joined the convention center as its general manager one year ago, bringing more than 23 years of experience in general management, trade/consumer event management, and strategic business development to the role. Before his work in Toronto, he served as general manager of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Chip Rogers
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) has announced that William “Chip” Rogers will succeed Katherine Lugar as president and chief executive officer, effective in the new year. Rogers has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has served as president and chief executive officer of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) since 2014.

Kelly Bristol
Kelly Bristol has joined Dallas Market Center as vice president of tradeshow business development. She will be responsible for the strategic planning, merchandising, and leasing of the temporary exhibits at Total Home & Gift Markets. Bristol brings more than two decades of experience in the trade show, wholesale, and consumer show industries to the position. She joins Dallas Market Center from Emerald Expositions, where she served in leadership positions since 1999.
