Ali Ribordy
Boise Center has named Ali Ribordy the new director of sales. Ribordy will lead a team of three sales managers and a sales coordinator in their efforts to attract future events. Previously, Ribordy worked with the Austin Convention Center for nine years. Most recently, she served as senior sales manager for the property, handling accounts out of Washington, D.C., the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and international markets.
Dave Gerdes
Dave Gerdes has joined the Central Pennsylvania Convention & Visitors Bureau as the destination’s first director of sales and marketing. Gerdes is experienced in marketing, content creation, sales, and public relations, and has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Throughout his career, he has been involved with more than 100 properties under brands such as Marriott, Starwood, and Omni. Most recently, Gerdes served as vice president of sales and marketing with Pacific Hospitality Group, LLC.
Shauna Goodman
Visit San Antonio has named Shauna Goodman its new associate director of destination experience. She will help lead San Antonio’s destination experience team to provide support for large meeting groups and form strategic partnerships with San Antonio’s meeting clients. Goodman has more than 20 years of experience in account management. Most recently, Goodman worked for the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation with SA Works.
