Marketing Solutions: Contactless Yet Still Engaging

Marketing solutions in the midst of a pandemic – not an easy task. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, the event industry as we know it has been forever changed COVID-19 pandemic. Along with other industries, we are hopeful for some sort of normalcy in the near future. This pandemic has gone on longer than anyone could have expected. It’s evident that brands are eager to get back to connecting with their consumers in real time. In addition, Tigris is just as eager and optimistic to help our clients reach their full potential.

We recognize that some people and companies are hoping for the best but anticipating that the worst may be yet to come. While erring on the side of caution, it’s important we move forward with the necessary precautions. If you’re planning for 2021/2022 events or promotions, we’re here to make it a little easier for you. We’re sharing our favourite marketing solutions that contactless, but still engaging!

Sample Box Sets

It would be fair to say that most people enjoy receiving a gift or package. There’s just something exciting about opening up a package and wondering what’s in store. Sample box sets are great marketing solutions to aid in recreating this experience for consumers. They put your products directly into the hands of your target audience. Perhaps it’s part of a take-home sampling initiative. This past summer, we saw beverage brands try this, some through apps like Bevtri. However, there are other ways to do this. For instance, this could be a take home portion of a virtual event. Recently, we were asked to contribute as an expert on a client advisory panel. Each expert was shipped a package that had both treats and materials to be used during the live event in them. This way a great way to receive a treat and stay involved during the live event!

The Jetpack

If you’re not already familiar, then we’d love to introduce you to one our next marketing solutions: the jetpack! “Jetpacks”, also known as “draftpacks” are fantastic for beverage samplings. They are easily filled and best of all portable! Having portable marketing solutions is key in terms of flexibility. Flexibility is particularly important due to the current climate we’re in. It allows us to plan for a sampling event, without being restricted by location or permits. A great example of how effective these marketing solutions are is our work with Cora’s. In 2019, we worked with one of their franchisee’s in Edmonton, to provide hot coffee samples to local consumers to promote the opening of their location. Targeting nearby busy transit stations in proximity to the restaurant, Tigris staff were able to distribute over 1200 samples & coupons in just 4 days, driving sales back to the local Cora’s!

Marketing Solutions: Jetpacks

However, if you’re looking for a profit-centric way to use this solution, then consider the following. Use it as a sponsorship or branding opportunity at a local live event. Your branding displayed on jetpacks, while providing full size beverages for sale. The sampling staff would wear the appropriate PPE, provide the cups and beverages. This makes social distancing easier and they can easily carry portable payment systems for seamless transaction! This way, guests stay social distanced, while still enjoying a beverage with friends. As a bonus, it reduce lines/crowding at events, which lessens the overall risk!

Display Trucks

Marketing solutions should be unique and come in all shapes and sizes. Any agency you choose to work with should be able to provide creative ideas that fit your brands needs. We particularly love the buzz worthy element of glass (or plexi) display trucks! This is great to create a buzz, particularly if launch a show, app or product.
