Speaking from the Launchpad Stage at Event Tech Live 2018, the CEO of the venue-finding service for event professionals, Turnedsee, described the impacts that technology and the Internet have had on the event sector.

Using examples such as marketing, event planning and post-engagement, Pauline explained how each section of event-planning was handled before the Internet and compared it to how it is handled now.

From the start of planning, to capturing attendee satisfaction after an event, the Turnedsee CEO used examples of various tools and apps – such as Huggity, Trello and WhatsApp – to demonstrate the benefits that technology has had on hosting events.

Drawing the speech to an end, Pauline answered questions about her own background, her favourite event-planning tools and the apps and companies to which she referred during her talk.

Event Tech Live is Europe’s only free-to-attend show dedicated to event technology. The 6th edition will take place on 6th and 7th November 2019 at the Old Truman Brewery. To receive updates, please register here.
