Groups360 and Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the global launch of GroupSync Engage, the hospitality industry’s first integrated direct booking solution for group room blocks, across the majority of the Hilton portfolio. Incorporated into Hilton’s central reservation system, GroupSync, which will begin rolling out globally this month, will provide event planners with the ability to view real-time availability and book guest room blocks for small groups at 5,000 hotels within Hilton’s global portfolio. Hotel companies that deploy GroupSync Engage offer a breakthrough instant booking solution for meeting and event planners to book guest rooms and event space at their properties. By giving group organizers a view into real-time inventory availability and group room rates, GroupSync simplifies the experience for approximately two-thirds of the RFPs seeking basic information for event planning purposes. GroupSync Engage also provides planners with the opportunity to book guest rooms, event space - or both - securely online.

Bizzabo, the world's leading event success platform, today announced its acquisition of x.ai, the powerful artificial intelligence scheduling tool. x.ai automates the most tedious parts of meetings by generating compatible times to meet across time zones, sending follow-ups and reminders, and managing cancellations. Bizzabo’s integration of x.ai’s scheduling engine will make it easy for event participants to make meaningful connections at virtual, in-person and hybrid events — powering both the discovery of who should meet as well as when and how. Founded in 2014, x.ai has assembled one of the biggest meeting scheduling datasets in the world. Their scheduling engine compares preferences and availability to find a time to meet — instantly. In 2020, x.ai’s user base grew 363% with a 182% growth in the number of meetings scheduled each month.

In order to make deliveries more effectively, rental companies need to improve communication between three groups of people: dispatchers, drivers, and customers. No matter what tools they use to talk to coworkers, rental teams who don’t talk to clients are more likely to deliver orders to the wrong places at the wrong times. Customers get upset, time gets wasted, and businesses lose money. FleetUp and Alert have partnered to improve communication between rental companies and customers. FleetUp integrates into Alert’s software to automate the most important parts of the delivery process, giving dispatch, drivers, and customers real-time shipment GPS locations and ETAs. FleetUp, the mobility industry’s premier telematics provider, and Alert, the rental industry’s most comprehensive software provider, deeply understand customer needs. In a space that’s increasingly automated, many technology providers forget that the ultimate goal of automation is to help people – the employees businesses depend on and the customers businesses serve.
