In this week’s episode of A.C.T. National’s mock trial, witness, Mark Bowers, and victim, Derek Wanley, are subjected to the dock. Previously, prosecuting barrister, David Campbell, had aimed his interrogation at site manager, John Crouchley.

First in the dock was Mark Bowers, who described the roof situation as “complicated”. Bowers was subsequently asked if he could bring in an extra pair of hands to help with the project, thus Derek Wanley was introduced on site.

Having turned up late to site, Wanley was not met by Crouchley who had “more important engagements” to which to attend.

After Wanley’s testimony, the trial was paused to allow members of the audience to ask any questions they had accumulated over the course of the day.
