Speaker management software provider, Lineup Ninja, has scooped two award wins in just one month.

The team was presented with one of the MICE industry’s top accolades, IBTM ‘Tech Watch People’s Choice’ award at IBTM World in Fira Barcelona last week.

The Tech Watch Award – hosted at IBTM World – is the longest running award of its kind and is designed by the exhibition organiser, Reed Exhibitions, to ‘showcase the very best event technology inspiring event professionals and revolutionising the way we make events.’

Lineup Ninja fought off tough competition to win the award, with Tech Watch Award judge and events industry legend, Corbin Ball, saying, “I wish Lineup Ninja had existed when I was an event planner.”

Earlier this month, the software provider was also crowned ‘Best Technology Start-Up’ at the Event Technology Awards 2019, the annual showcase of the best technology for the events industry, which took place at the Troxy, London.

The awards, which are affiliated with Europe’s leading event technology exhibition, Event Tech Live, recognise the achievements of companies delivering digital and technological solutions to the events world.

The judges commented that Lineup Ninja’s event content management software is “a great example of tech with a clear objective to tackle a common planning challenge. Focused and brings automation to a process that was clearly in need.”

They also noted that: “The tech demonstrates clear benefits to both attendees and organisers.”

Joe Atkinson, co-founder at Lineup Ninja, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have won both Best Tech Start-Up at the Event Technology Awards and the IBTM Tech Watch Award. I’m so proud of the team’s achievements and grateful to all our clients, partners and suppliers for all their support.

“2019 has been fantastic for us and as we go into 2020 we will ensure we are equipped to deliver the best service to our clients, as we have done since we started the business.”
