A Greener Festival have announced the shortlists for the debut International AGF Awards, which will be hosted following the Green Events & Innovations Conference and ILMC Production Meeting on Tuesday 5th March at the Royal Garden Hotel, London.

Winners are selected from the detailed AGF assessments, site visits, evidence and analysis by trained sustainable event auditors throughout 2018. To enter the awards it is necessary for events to apply for an assessment with not for profit organisation A Greener Festival. This included over 40 festivals from 17 countries in 2018.

Officially crowned by the BBC as an Amazing Human – Ash Perrin of the Flying Seagulls Project – who bring laughter through play to children in refugee camps – will be Co-Hosting the ceremony with A Greener Festival Co-Founder Claire O’Neill.

Ash Perrin said “Having been involved with festivals for many years I am proud to be joining this event as both speaker and International AGF Awards host. The issue of finding greener solutions for this glorious world of entertainment is an important one, and creating the next step together as a community seems the absolute right choice. Green fields + green festivals = big smiles for years to come.”
