It’s been a rapid ascent for London-based tech company LiveStyled. Launched in 2014, the company provided the venue app for their first client, the O2 Academy in Oxford. Since then the business has rapidly grown to become the European market-leading platform. Their technology is used by major venues and festivals to gather GDPR compliant attendee data, which can be used to monetise attendees through its white-label venue apps.

Clients now total more than 50 venues across Europe, including all twenty of Live Nation / AMGs O2 Academy venues, and AEG Europe’s five European Arenas, such as the O2 and Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin. Branching out from its focus on arenas, in 2018 LiveStyled built and powered the apps for All Points East and Barclaycard presents British Summer Time music festivals and will soon be launching with their first Premiership football club.

LiveStyled CEO Adam Goodyer comments “For venues and festivals, our white-labelled apps enable our clients to identify their individual visitors and learn a wealth of data around their behavioural patterns. This information can then be used to personalise app content and encourage visitors to spend more.

“For the end-user, the attendee, the app acts as a complete companion to their event experience. They can download mobile tickets and share them with friends, pre-order merchandise, food and beverage, as well as engaging with audience participation features such as branded selfies, quiz and competitions. Our apps also offer users the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards for their loyalty and upgrade to VIP or premium experiences.

“The key differentiator between LiveStyled and our competitors is our proven ability to drive revenue for clients. Most apps are seen as a cost centre where you invest to enhance the brand experience but gain no direct commercial return. With LiveStyled this is not the case.”

No strangers to the Event Technology Awards, the company took home 2 awards last year, for Best Venue Solution and Best New Technology Product. This year sees the team shortlisted for five awards.

The future looks highly promising for LiveStyled with global expansion planned into the USA and South America along with opportunities opening up as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.
