The London show has officially come to an end and organisers described the atmosphere as “buzzing”.

Exhibitors have also hailed the two-day event a success with hundreds of visitors making their way through the doors.

The team at Event Industry News particularly enjoyed catching up with so many of its readers and will announce the winner of the Event Technology Awards tickets later on today.

Kizzy Allott, sales manager at Event Industry News, described the show as vital for event professionals to make connections: “It’s been a very busy two days, we’ve been non-stop with the number of visitors we’ve met – both new faces and old friends!”

Kane Thomas, the organiser behind Venues + Events Live, said: “We’ve had really great feedback from yesterday. Exhibitors have said that not only have they had a lot of visitors, but they have seen a lot of new people as well.

“We have had similar attendee-numbers as last year. We heavily vet our visitors to ensure exhibitors are coming face-to-face with valuable clients.

“We put a lot of effort into making this show successful. Our dressing partners go above and beyond to make it look fantastic. We have real grass rolled out on the terrace, trees in the main hall – it just gives the show the wow-factor.”

Eva Rajasuriya from Searcys commented: “Both days have been really busy, and we’ve not just had anyone come to the stand – we’ve been talking directly to potential clients.”

Venues + Events Live will be in Manchester on 24th September.
