Specialist events talent recruitment companies, tfconnect and ESP Recruitment, recently announced a strategic partnership to work together globally to assist tfconnect clients with their senior talent needs.

The early success of the joint venture (announced in October) has already led to an expansion of the alliance into the Middle East.

This step is the result of an increasing list of tfconnect clients and candidates in the region coupled with the fact that ESP Recruitment have had an office in Dubai for the last 12 years and have been successfully recruiting in the region for 15 years.

Commenting on the expansion, Trevor Foley, tfconnect’s MD, said, “A rapid increase in demand from our clients for additional recruitment support in the Middle East can be met with the combination of ESP’s presence in the region and the extensive experience that both Liz Sinclair and Rebecca Wilson bring in working on senior level industry roles.”

Rebecca Wilson, MD of ESP International in Dubai, explained further: “ESP has been recruiting for this sector for 20 years in February.

“Trevor’s many years as chief executive of the AEO and his strong relationship with all the senior stakeholders in this industry, combined with my tenure as President of the Middle East Chapter of global events industry trade association ILEA (2014-2016), has lead this partnership to be a formidable consultancy of knowledge, hands-on experience and global networks, built up over more than two decades.”

The two companies will work together with an initial focus on helping to place senior-level exhibition professionals in the region. A joint business mission in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) and Saudi Arabia, will take place in mid-January 2020.
