The wait is over… the 2020 edition of Event Buyers Live (EBL) will take place from November 23-25 at a location to be revealed next month.

Following yearly feedback and regular contact with event organisers, EBL, the place to do business, has moved dates to suit industry needs. The date change to November has been implemented after feedback following the 2019 event was unanimous. The change of date will allow event organisers to contract their suppliers more immediately and get their infrastructure in place at a time of year that’s better suited to their event planning.

The event, as always, welcomes only 100 of the live event sectors most respected organisers. Accompanying the 100, will be only 45 event suppliers and venues for structured networking and pre-qualified meetings.

Neil Fagg, event director of Event Buyers Live, said: “We have been reviewing a date move for the last three years based on the event feedback and experiences of working with Stand Out magazine’s readers.

“But the feedback from our guests following the 2019 event was unanimous; we have always adapted the event based on feedback since year one and has clearly been a fundamental factor for the events growth and success. Events professionals wish to attend an event that is more suited to their requirements and at a time when infrastructure planning and budget meetings are in full swing – that date is November and so we have responded to what the market needs.”

Fagg added: “As an organiser, we have always said that Event Buyers Live is ‘the place to do business’. However, this statement is bolstered by the wonderfully positive comments that we receive from our attendees, who love the relaxed environment that we provide and the event’s productive format.”

Steve Cunningham, director at 20-20 Events, commented on his experience of Event Buyers Live 2019: “Event Buyers Live is the new wave of industry networking. Not only is it a superb opportunity to meet all the suppliers I’m interested in, but it’s also a great opportunity to meet my peers in the industry, share and learn from their experiences.”

Fagg concluded: “Whether you organise a flower show or a trade show, it’s important for any event organiser to listen to what their audience wants. Event Buyers Live is no different, and so we invite event organisers and suppliers to put November 23-25 in their diaries and to watch out for more announcements coming soon.”

Big announcements will be revealed over the next coming months, so please follow @eventbuyerslive.
