Born from a joint venture between the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the Library of Birmingham on Centenary Square, Unique Venues Birmingham (UVB) is an inimitable conference and events venue, offering to both corporate and private clients.
The award-winning venue opened in October 2017 and was created to unite the excellent conference and hospitality opportunities offered within the two iconic buildings.
UVB presents organisers dramatic and flexible conference and events spaces including three theatrical auditoria, the Book Rotunda, Shakespeare Memorial Room and three roof terraces that offer stunning panoramic views across the city.

“In its first year, UVB hosted 1,022 events with 42,942 delegates. In its second year, those figures rose to 1,698 events and 56,000 delegates. In its two years, UVB has built a strong brand of creativity, prestige and artistry.”

In its short history, the venue already boasts several achievements such as winning Best Hospitality Venue in the West Midlands (2018 and 2019) from the Global Hospitality Awards, LUX Life Magazine; Birmingham Venue Company of the Year (2019) at the Prestige Awards, Corporate LiveWire; and Oustanding Hospitality & Events Services Award (2018) from ABCC.

In the last 12 months, the venue also launched Unique Venues Birmingham Solutions – a free venue-finding service which includes an accommodation-booking service for individuals and groups, conference management, bespoke hospitality packages, team-building packages and outdoor events.
