Thanks to popular demand, the Meetings Industry Association (mia) is extending the nomination deadline for the miaList 2019.

Entries into the mia’s prestigious awards, open to anyone working within, or associated with the business meetings, hospitality or events sector in the UK or Ireland, will now close at 5pm on Friday, 24th May.

Recognising the individuals who go above and beyond the call of duty, the miaList showcases those inspirational individuals who play an instrumental role in making the organisation for which they work so successful.

Nominations will be assessed by an esteemed panel of industry stalwarts, which includes Gill Smillie of Conference Venues Countrywide, Mark Gallen of MG Sales Performance, Robert Kenwood of YOU search & select, Lacy Curtis-Ward of The Lensbury, Amanda Thurlow of ACCA and Paul Southern of Central Hall Westminster.

The miaList 2019 will feature 10 names on its roll of honour. Meanwhile, teams who have collectively made a significant impact on their organisation will be shortlisted by the judges and subject to a public online vote to secure the Team title.

Entry to the miaList 2019, sponsored by Epson UK, is free, but the person nominating cannot nominate themselves.

Completed forms and any portfolios of evidence must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 24th May.

Those securing a place on the sought-after miaList will be revealed at a prestigious ceremony on 7th November at Central Hall Westminster.
